EnviroCluster is working closely with East of England International (EEI) to develop export markets in the environmental sector for companies in Peterborough and the East of England. Therefore, if you are looking for some help to get your product into the international market, please contact Gareth Jones (01733 311644) who can put you in touch with the relevant representative at EEI.
East of England International provides the support that businesses need to grow internationally. They work with overseas-owned companies locating in the region and local businesses exporting their services and products. EEI match your requirements to a sector specialist or export adviser.
Setting up in Peterborough
Housed in the inspirational Peterscourt building, the Peterborough Eco Innovation Centre is a business incubation and support environment with a focus on innovation in the environmental industry. Free one to one advice
A team of business advisers cover the East of England area including specialist advisers with extensive experience of the energy and environment sector: Paul Barker and June Davenport.
Paul Barker
A doctorate in Colour Chemistry and Masters in Business Administration, and an Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment, are but a few of Paul's catalogue of academic and professional qualifications. With over 11 years experience as an adviser to businesses and national government environmental and innovation programmes, Paul has a strong grasp of the needs and focus of the sector.
"I am on hand to support businesses engaged in the energy sectors and those developing environmental products and innovations", says Paul. "It is about providing companies with an impartial, expert perspective that is available to look at the business in it's entirety".
June Davenport
A former Environmental Chemist with a masters degree in Environmental Management, June has has over 11 years experience in managing advice based projects tackling general business provision. She has a wealth of knowledge on environmental, pollution and wildlife issues.
June's environmental background covers a wide range of areas, including working with resource efficiency networks, green technology and pollution control within agriculture and manufacturing.

An Information and Intelligence Centre
Business Link's team of 40 information advisers are on call daily to give practical business information and advice which is impartial and free of charge. The information available is extensive and ranges from credit checks on new customers and market reports, to help with business planning or mailing lists.
Workshops and seminars
Business Link workshops and seminars cover areas that are relevant to people starting out in business, right through to organisations looking to develop and build.Areas covered include sales and marketing, IT and e-commerce, accessing and managing finance and business planning.
The events range from half-day bite-sized briefings, to one-day workshops to provide in-depth information about some key business issues. Many are free of charge.
