Aquavent UK
Aquavent UK provides water distribution efficiency consultancy services and products to the Utility companies, industry and commerce. With effective use of zoning and water pressure management, major savings can be made in respect of water consumption.
The use of pressure control to reduce leakage and demand is international currency in the management of any water supply and distribution system. Lower stable pressures also reduce the frequency at which burst mains and services occur as well as minimising the rate of rise of leakage and power consumption on pumps. These benefits are significantly increased if pressures are managed in response to changes in demand. To achieve this it is necessary to enable the pressure controller to sense velocity and correspond pressures accordingly, thereby avoiding unnecessarily high system pressures.
Aquavent UK can provide advice on effective use of pressure management and zoning by auditing existing networks and then providing recommendations with revised projected consumption, preventative maintenance planning and cost savings. With our knowledge base we are able to offer clients on and off site support, we also provide full quality assurance on services and products by using our purpose built flow test facility. We also offer consumption and leakage studies, logging, monitoring, independent performance testing on valves and other products, we can simulate common leakage areas and provide research, development and training for our clients.
Sustainable design, construction, supply and service are a pre requisite to our philosophy providing solutions where we may all profit but at the same time help to protect our environment and conserve our life source - water.
Aquavent covers a full range of efficient water use activities at our specialised training centre in Peterborough, where our clients can translate theory into practice. Our PRV test facility enables us to train delegates thoroughly, simulating network conditions, inspiring technician's confidence and effectiveness. A follow up audit is completed on site to confirm competence if so required. We can also offer on site practical training on all aspects of effective water consumption management at customer sites.
Our products and services are backed by registration and approval on The Water Technology List, this is approved by DEFRA and HM Customs & Excise for the enhanced capital allowance scheme whereby capital equipment purchased from us will be subject to discount via the scheme because of water saving capabilities.
